The aim of this utility room was to move the washing machine and dryer out of the kitchen and create an exit to the rear to be used instead of the patio doors off the living space. The interesting thing was that it was it was right next to a 100 year old listed wall, therefor to avoid loading the wall with any foundations we had to have a single footing with a cantilevered base designed by the structural engineer. Fitted Howdens kitchen, hard wood work top, butler sink and a reclaimed oak floor. Rendered walls and slate roof to match the existing house.
