Sometimes we get those design briefs that are both interesting and unique! We’re always happy to accommodate and build something super special.
With the house being so close to the beach it was unsurprising then the clients requested a ‘Beach Hut’ style room that they could use for storage and entertaining.
Being so close to the sea, materials had to be considered carefully and with the tight location it proved to be an interesting project. But bespoke builds are what we do best!
Noticeably the most striking feature was the alternating colour of Weatherboard – a cement base cladding great for protection from the salty air. Along with the ‘fake slate’ roof and the UPVC doors, they certainly gave it a striking look.
Finally, finished inside with a combination of plaster and exposed OSB as well as some Kitchen units for storage it ticked both boxes for function and appearance. Turning what was an unused space into a truly unique place!
